Bulky Waste Removal Service.

This service is totally free and is provided by Leeds City Council. You should use this service to help remove large items that won't fit in your black bin.

We would still prefer it if you tried to recycle your items but if you have a large item, this service is great. They will pick up chairs, sofas, tables, wardrobes (dismantled), white goods, garden waste and electrical items like TVs. However, they will not pick up things like gas bottles, car parts etc. If you are not sure about if your item is suitable for collection, call City Services to find out. The phone lines are open between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday; however, we recommend calling City Services between the hours of 12:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, as these times are generally less busy.
