Last year, in time for the summer changeover period, Leeds City Council, Leeds University Union and Leeds Metropolitan Students' Union have worked together to provide the students of Leeds with as much help as possible to dispose of their rubbish responsibly.

The campaign has been developed by Leeds University Union's Marketing Department to help inform the students of Leeds about everything available to help them dispose of their unwanted items.

The Students' Unions are also involved by representing members' needs. Student Executive Officers are responsible for ensuring members' needs and experinces are voiced in meetings with council members, service providers and local resident groups. It's these experinces and needs of students that have also formed the basis of this campaign.
